Reportedly, Bernie picked up the phone shortly after the incident and rang Swiss matchmakers Hublot, a brand stocked in Selfridges Wonder Room and ‘The Official Watch of Formula 1’, to negotiate a new ad campaign.
The Formula 1 Men's watch is water resistant to 200 metres. Designed with a sporting edge, this watch has a black dial with red detailing; features include a date window at 6 o’clock; two sub-dials, a second counter at 3 o’clock and an alarm at 9 o’clock with luminous markers on hands to be more visible in low light conditions. It has a 41mm steel case with a unidirectional turning bezel with black engraved digits. The watch is secured with a 3-row steel strap and deployment clasp.
