Here's one from the classics. Well five actually. The latest issue of Fortune magazine shines a spotlight on watchmaker's latest luxury trends, what the magazine calls "investment-grade models [that] offer disarmingly simple designs, often classic styles from the past updated with subtle refinements."
The magazine considers the storied watchmaking houses of Patek Philippe with its 18 karat gold case Calatrava, Vacheron Constantin's Patrimony and Panerai Radiomir, a reinvention of the Italian watchmaker's classic 1940s design, complete with a polished stainless-steel bezel and an alligator strap.
Which one of these updated understated luxury chronographs would you choose?
