TIME² Long Acre hosted a fantastic wristwear fashion event last night in partnership with the London Evening Standard, and we were delighted to play host to ES Magazine's Style Director Gianluca Longo who took us through his pick of the current collection.

It’s not that Harrison Ford ‘is’ Indiana Jones, though sometimes you might be forgiven for thinking so. The craggy American actor has had all sorts of defining roles, from Han Solo in Star Wars to CIA man Jack Ryan in the film version of a pair of Tom Clancy novels, but none seem to fit the man himself quite so neatly as the two-fisted archaeologist.

What is it about watches that some people will do just about anything to get their hands on the one they want.

Here's one from the classics. Well five actually. The latest issue of Fortune magazine shines a spotlight on watchmaker's latest luxury trends, what the magazine calls "investment-grade models [that] offer disarmingly simple designs, often classic styles from the past updated with subtle refinements."

It may not have been the first commemorative artefact to hit the stores – we’d bet heavily on the Fifa-branded vuvuzuela in red and yellow -  but it was pretty swift all the same, and it came from a somewhat unusual source.
