1950's Styling - Tissot Visodate & Mad Men
It is difficult to think of a hit TV show that has had as dramatic an impact on fashion culture as Mad Men, the AMC drama about the New York advertising industry of the late 1950s and early 1960s, centred on Manhattan’s Madison Avenue.
Wedding Watches - On Time & In Style!
So what do you say when your future husband says "Darling, I love you, I can’t wait to marry you. I want to get you a fabulous gift to mark the occasion....what would you like?" Ummm...yikes! How often does a girl get asked this? Not often enough! For me, you can’t get better than a watch. It’s timeless, practical, the most fabulous of fashion accessories and above all you get to wear it 24/7. The most perfect reminder of the event.
Online Exclusive - Brand New DKNY Watches
We've just launched the latest range of DKNY watches at TIME² including some classic, bang on-trend 'heritage' styles that wouldn't look out of place on a 60's film set (or maybe a Stella Artois ad...).
Tag Heuer Look to the Future whilst Celebrating their Past
For any top watchmaker, a major anniversary is a time to look back through its history, relive its triumphs, reaffirm the values that got it this far, and yes, celebrate its survival in an increasingly competitive and cutthroat world. TAG Heuer’s 150th birthday sees it following the traditional pattern in its worldwide marketing.
The Fine Art of the Dior Watch
Watchmaking, as any aficionado will tell you, is at its highest level the almost perfect amalgam of art and science. Comb through the history of any of the great luxury marques, and you will find it peppered with landmark watches that combine great beauty – through an elusive combination of colour, materials and proportion - with sophisticated and often groundbreaking movements.
Bell & Ross Ceramic Military Chic
Here at TIME² we've been generally getting very over excited by the burgeoning trend for ceramic in watch making, kicked off by the gorgeous Chanel J12 (as I'm sure you all know).
iPhone Apps for Watch Fans
Now that the iPhone has reached a level of must-have desirability where, like football in the 1990s, it is not just evidence of the culture, it ‘is’ the culture, it is no surprise to find luxury watchmakers scrambling to identify ways to jump on board. A number are doing a pretty good job of keeping up with the zeitgeist.
Tissot Augmented Reality @Selfridges
Earlier this Summer Tissot created some not-so-virtual retail theatre at Selfridges with their Augmented Reality demonstration.
What does your watch say about you?
I think the snootiest look I've ever had the misfortune to receive was during Milan fashion week a couple of years ago.
