Astrid Joss is Brides' Shopping Editor and has been at the magazine since 2006. She over sees all the fashion shopping page, jewellery pages and styles fashion shoots as well. Obviously the jewellery pages are very much comprised of engagement rings and wedding bands but she always keeps an eye out for jewellery as gifts as well for both brides and grooms. As she says 'the wedding is a time where people enjoy splashing out. They like to treat themselves as they see it as a once in a life time opportunity which they want to embrace and make the most of. Its a great, guilt free, shopping experience for the bride and you will find that most grooms are secret partial to this as well!'
Before Brides she worked on Vogue magazine for 2 1/2 years. She has always loved all thing fashion and never, ever gets bored of her job.
She got married in June 2008 to Alastair Kidson-Trigg in Shrivenham, Wiltshire and lives in South West London. Her next project is to buy a dog.
