TIME² was on location behind the scenes as ‘the hustle’ unfolded. Details of the hustle cannot be revealed, all we can say is that a selection of luxury watches from TIME² were used by the tricksters for their real-life scam, exciting stuff!

The day got off to a great start, I arrived on location and didn’t know what to expect. As a huge fan of the show it was amazing to see how events unfolded behind the scenes, an awesome experience.

First up, I met the production team and ‘the real hustle’ crew. A great bunch of people, working tirelessly on schedule to make sure everything is perfect. They gave me the low down of the scam and I couldn’t wait to see the hustlers in action! By this time I was so engrossed in how hectic it was behind the scenes I had totally forgotten to show them the watches. This was the first time the crew had seen the watches up-close and they were really impressed.

Next up, I got to meet the Hustlers… Alexis Conran aka ‘the confidence trickster’ - Jessica Jane Clement aka ‘the sexy swindler’ and Paul Wilson aka ‘the scam artist’. It was great to finally meet them and they loved our selection of watches. With watches in hand, they were now confident the scam would go to perfection.

There was also a celebrity involved, ex-Hollyoaks’ star Sarah Jayne Dunn. She was part of the scam, but I cannot reveal any details…it’s all hush hush until August!

THE SCAM

The location was rigged with hidden cameras and the unsuspecting ‘marks’ had no idea what was about to happen to them. I can reveal that the watches from TIME² were the main ingredients of the scam, and it all went smoothly! The ‘marks’ fell for the hustle and they were made to pay, literally! They say… if it’s too good to be true, it probably is! I’m sure the ‘marks’ will keep that in mind from now on…
