Here at TIME² we're always on the look out for the most intriguing and, yes, outlandish watches.
So imagine the fun in reading a recent installment of the The Watch Lounge's Weird Watch Wednesday featuring the "Upside Down" watch, "the super cool first creation of newly independent master designer watch maker Ludovic Ballouard."
Ballouard may not be a household name but he has a fine pedigree having served a high-end watch manufacturer F. P. Journe. And that education - especially on the complicated Sonnerie Souveraine - has spawned an eclectic flair that can be seen in the Upside Down, so called because "only the correct hour is the right side up."
