U-Boat has unveiled the U-51 Gold at BaselWorld this year, the latest stunning addition to the U-51 family.

You might think they’re too clunky, loud and enormous for you. And with their jumbo-sized 50-plus millimeter cases, they quite possibly are. But U-Boat watches also boast truckloads of Italian style and sporty glamour and they’re catching on - gaining momentum with both beginner and established watch collectors across Europe and beyond.

U-Boat unveiled a 65mm monster – the U-1942 - two years ago. Each of the 29 collector’s pieces were made of Grade-5 Titanium with the widest sapphire glass available in the world. Then last year U-Boat launched its little brother, a 53mm version limited to 999 pieces worldwide, the U-42. So, what will U-Boat unveil at BaselWorld this year?

Bold over-sized features define the U-Boat Classico collection, which help set these watches apart from other lines.

U-Boat never do things by half - at last year's Baselworld, the Italian watch brand launched a mammoth 65mm U-1942 that, in terms of sheer size at least, would not have looked amiss strapped to your head. This year’s Baselworld featured another U-Boat launch that had the watch world talking in the shape of the U-42.
