Bell & Ross the French-Swiss watch brand has been associated with aviation and pilot watches since they started in the early 90's. Currently, their vintage collection - which includes the new WW1 range - reference historic pilot watches, whereas the iconic aviation range of square BR01 and BR03 watches reference the clocks and instruments installed in aircraft cockpits.

The French-Swiss watch brand, Bell & Ross, was first launched in 1992 and spent the first years of business developing a core range of watches based on 4 design principles: legibility, functionality, precision and reliability. However for many watch enthusiasts, the brand become popular when they released the hugely successful BR01 watch line in 2005.

Since Swiss designers Bruno Belamich and Carlos A.Rosillo first joined forces in 1992, Bell & Ross has operated under one simple maxim: “function shapes form”. The sole ambition of the company was to create watches suited to the extreme conditions of professional use, while acquiescing to the great tradition of Swiss watchmaking.

Earlier this year, Bell & Ross re-launched its website. Utilising the latest web technologies, it produced a beautiful uncluttered designed site, which showcased its three main categories of watches: Vintage, Aviation and Marine.

Bell & Ross is best known for producing watches that can withstand the harshest of professional environments – its timepieces have graced the wrists of bomb disposal teams, divers, astronauts and pilots since its foundation in 1992.

Bell & Ross has announced the appointment of BR-AVO co-founder Simon Cudd as its new community ambassador.
