Men's Watch Style - Kick Start Spring/Summer With Bold Colour

If you're a male who is constantly looking towards the spring/summer season (and that summer holiday you have booked!), then I want to introduce to you one of the must-have watches for this year... the bold coloured watch.

With the major trends this year in men's and women’s fashion being block colours, there has never been a better time to add a bright and bold accessory to your holiday arsenal.

This Casio Pink Digital Watch is my personal pick from their latest range of striking coloured watches just launched at TIME², see Casio. Pink is a colour many males shy away from, as they either don’t know how to wear it correctly, or just don’t have the confidence to pull it off. However, there has never been a better time to wear pink, as it was recently chosen as Pantone colour of the year, in the form of honeysuckle, meaning it is bang on trend and will be influencing everything from fashion to design and interiors this year.

So how would you wear it? Well, firstly you could co-ordinate it within your outfit by pairing it with other pink accessories/detailing in your outfit such as a belt, a lightweight scarf or even just a flash of pink in your trainers. Don’t go over the top because it can definitely look in your face and garish if you are not careful. The key here is subtlety and allowing the bold colour to become the focal point.

Pink also works beautifully well with items you already have in your wardrobe in blue, black and white, so why not pair it with your dark jeans and a simple tee or polo shirt? If you keep the rest of the outfit toned down and monochromatic, suddenly the watch becomes a daring and bold stand out item. It is not over the top (or feminine) when utilised like this and simply injects some much needed flair and interest into an otherwise boring spring/summer outfit.

So there you go, the perfect summer holiday watch. If you don’t have the confidence to try pink then go for Casio’s electric blue version – both will look amazing in the summer sun, are water resistant to 30 metres for relaxing in the pool and have a backlight for when you go out at night.

I nearly forgot to mention they are an absolute steal at just £20 each, making them a truly essential purchase!
