Maurice Lacroix Watches: Fiaba Collection Overview

Maurice Lacroix’s Fiaba line may include only a small number of watches, just as its women’s timepieces represent a less prominent part of its overall catalogue than its men’s selection. But that is not to say that it has taken its women’s watches any less seriously than those it designs for men.

Indeed, the Fiaba line of women’s watches features the same meticulous attention to detail, the same devotion to the essential elements that have come to define the Maurice Lacroix brand, as you would find in a men’s Classique. In short, and just as Maurice Lacroix describes it, these are watches that are designed to become classics of the future.

The six Fiaba watches in the current catalogue share a number of defining features. They have rectangular cases and quartz movements,and dials featuring outsize roman numerals at six and twelve o’clock and lines for the other hour-marks.

The devil is in the detail. Case materials range from stainless steel to yellow gold, straps are made from lizard or gold-plated metal, dials come in a variety of colours from black to brown to silver. In perfect Maurice Lacroix style, however, every watch in the Fiaba line is simple enough for day-wear, elegant enough for the evening. Versatility, too, is a Maurice Lacroix trademark.
