Working for TIME² in Selfridges we are lucky to get some very exclusive product, a good example of this is the recent launches of Old England and Zadig and Voltaire.
Old England is a brand that some people may be familiar with. Originally launched in the 1960’s Old England was hugely popular with the celebs of the time such as Princess Anne, Twiggy and Elton John who have all been seen in the watches. Elton John was such a big fan of the brand that he had a number of watches custom made for his friends and family.
Fast forward to today and Old England has been re-launched with the original designs and modern movements. The watches have strong, confident designs which are ideal for people who don’t want to wear something that everyone else has.
Zadig and Voltaire is as much of a contrast to Old England as it is possible to get, a modern French brand that takes its inspiration from the world of rock and roll. Its range of steel ladies' watches feature Angels and Skulls on the dials and would be the ideal time piece of choice for the modern rocker.
