German designer watch brand Blancier are known for their slightly off-kilter approach to timepiece making. After all they started a virtual build your own watch showroom back in 2005.
But it's their specialty Crazy Planet watch, first produced in 2008, that really catches the eye not least because, by designing the face with visible planetary gears, Blancier's designers have decided to let it all hang out so to speak. And as the Retro Thing blog aptly noted, the craziness doesn't stop with the name or the design. This understated chronograph will put you back a cool £10,000.
