Bell & Ross have done a pretty good job over a relatively short period of time carving out a niche in the Swiss luxury watch market. An eye for original, eye-catching design coupled with bomb-proof (almost literally) construction means these watches have quickly gained a following amongst not only the professionals they were designed for, but the creative design community as well.
The BR01-92 Radar could be the perfect example - obviously influenced, as with the rest of the BR0 collections, by military instrumentation, Bell & Ross have given a new twist to military chic as evidenced by this year's earlier collaboration with Wallpaper magazine.
Based on the long standing BR01-92 in a 46mm case. the hands have been replaced by concentric discs echoing a cockpit radar display, installed behind a crystal upon which a target-like axis displays the watch dial's quadrants. Yellow indicates the hours, Red shows the minutes, and Green - the seconds. Limited to a short run of just 500 pieces (028 is shown above), the complex task of replacing the hands with (relatively) far heavier discs lead to the creation of new materials and watch making techniques to ensure the micron-thick accuracy of the components.
Extremely collectible, there are just a handful available in the UK - a small number of which can be found at TIME². For more information email contact@time2.co.uk

I'm looking for info on the lume, does this watch have any? Are the time markers reflective in any way?
Thanks!

Hi Matt,
We’ve been inspecting the watch with an ultra violet lamp and the hour/minute/second ‘hands’ are luminescent, while the target markers and numbers are not – they’re simply matt black and painted/printed to the inside of the crystal.
Hope that helps!
