Recently the TIME² team had an opportunity to peak inside the inner workings of Mont Blanc timepieces.
The occasion was a rare visit to the UK by Minerva who exclusively produce 250 movements for Mont Blanc's Limited Edition Villeret collection. They, along with representatives from Mont Blanc representatives, were here to showcase the new Villeret 1858 Vintage collection and to demonstrate how to assemble their unique movements.
The master watchmakers explained in great detail the different components used to manufacture the movements for the Villeret watches, (which they were being handcrafted in front of our eyes while we sipped on champagne!)
The Mont Blanc Villeret 1858 Vintage Chronographe, Calibre MBM 16.29 with a 43.5mm case and available in 18kt Rose Gold or White Gold is limited to just 58 pieces for each and costs £31,900.
