A Luxury Date With Omega's Cindy Crawford

You may think my life is all glamour, it isn’t really, but then again you sometimes find yourself in the presence of the extraordinary.

This was the case on 15th Oct, when I was invited to the launch of the New Constellation watch from Omega which will be available in November.

Not only is the execution of the watch gorgeous (I particularly like the fact you could get each watch in a matt or polished version ) but I was lucky enough to be photographed with Omega's highest profile ambassador: Cindy Crawford.

Here is the evidence: You’ll notice I tried my best to flash a model pose/ smile but only ended up looking like I had suffered a minor stoke.

A while back Cindy was quoted as saying "It's important for your watch to be stylish and reflect your personality because you really don't need one anymore as everyone has a cell phone".

I couldn't agree more (and not just because she said Hi to me) because that's the point of luxury items - their allure comes from being totally  irrelevant to your everyday needs.

Omega, and the other fine watches I handle every day are the things of beauty that make you dream. So stay tuned to this blog for a regular dose of luxury (though I can't promise a supermodel every week!).
