The release of a new catalogue is always greeted with a high degree of anticipation in this office. It's a long time since Basel and the chance to re-appraise the stars of a new collection is always exciting. Never more so than with the new Bell & Ross book.
Weighing in at a whopping 195pp, Bell & Ross have released a somewhat less strenuous online version - it takes a while to load, but click on the link, go make a cup of tea and once the B&R wheel's stopped spinning, the pages load seamlessly.
The extended length of the catalogue is testimony to the broadening range as new lines - including the Heritage and Officer collections are interspersed with evocative editorial shots of pilots, divers and such like doing what they do best.
Perhaps one might have expected more 'dynamic multi-media' (as we say in the trade) but for my money, the photography doesn't require the addition of grainy, stop/start video. Sit back and enjoy.
